The
owner of this Penthouse apartment wanted a bright yellow kitchen
that would compliment the magnificient views of Wellington harbour
and also accommodate his appreciation of wine.
The resulting galley style kitchen was simply stunning. Bright
yellow cabinetry in a gloss lacquer was featured with floor to
ceiling units along the back wall. This housed the pantry, crockery
storage and side-by-side refrigerator and was complimented on
the opposite wall with a thick stainless steel bench waterfalling
to the floor at the end. A glass splashback finished the wall
behind the hob area.
The focal feature was the walk in wine cellar/pantry with wine
fridge and in-wall glass sliding doors.
